TATA Aria Is High-Tech and Comfortable MUV

The dealers of the TATA were very much excited to report that the new car (TATA Aria) from the TATA would hit the market soon. People had high expectation and hopes from the new car. Though the initial response have not been all that great with respect to the USA car market, yet the dealers were quite excited about the kind of buzz that the new car have been able to generate in other parts of the world.

It has been argued that the people in the US are not very ford of small cars hence the new TATA have not been able to strike a sense of liking within the American community. Apart from the Americans the TATA has hit the bull’s eye in the world market and is looking to conquer more territories. The car, which was unveiled on 11th October, at the capital city of India (Delhi) has much of a similarity with the previous cars from TATA.

What is brewing between Tata Motors and Fiat?

Fiat from Italy has been the premium car provider until the Indian market opened for other brands. With more stylish and a efficient making way into the Indian soil, the popularity of fiat decreased and gradually faded out.

In 2001, it tried to make a comeback with the ‘Premier Padmini’ but the out of trend design and fuel efficiency denied it. Indians did not mind spending extra bucks for more luxurious rides and German, Korean and Japanese brands were reaping the benefits.

Recently Tata ha steamed up with the Fiat Company to help it regain the status in the Indian market. The Punto and Linea are the latest models introduced and Fiat is increasing the sales under the Tata brand name. Cars from both the manufacturers are displayed in the same showrooms. The partnership has extended to making of the engines and innovations. The Ranjangoan plant of Fiat is being used by the Tata’s to manufacture Indica.

The smallest car, Nano, from Tata launched in Europe under the banner of Fiat and the partnership is getting stronger.

The Tata Nano EV is the world’s cheapest car and has further transformed into the world’s cheapest electric car and it was featured on the Geneva Motor Show. It is designed with four seats and is capable of going from zero to about 35 miles per hour in just 10 seconds. The car is further designed with super-polymer lithium-ion batteries which is said to provide superior energy retention according to Tata. With the many features the Tata Nano EV is still the cheapest electric car on sale today.

The Tata Nano EV goes for sale only in some selected countries in Europe and is expected to work its way to the US sometime soon. It is being delivered to 100, 000 customers and it is not known when the electric version of Tata Nano will come to Europe. This is the kind of car to have if you really want to drive in a pollution-free environment since it has all the features that make it one of the cars that does not emit carbon.
