The 2010 Maserati Granturismo is powered by an engine which has eight cylinders 4,244cc v90 and is one of the new features that the company invented in the power unit of the car. It is a high performing car having an engine that is capable of developing 405 bhp at 7,100, which is equivalent to 96.4 bhp per liter. The cylinder head is compact and light and is made of aluminum alloy and silicon.
It has a total of 32 valves which are auctioned by two overhead camshafts per bank and the overhead camshafts are controlled by a low pressure. The exhaust of the Maserati Granturismo is connected to V8 and offers an anti pollution regulation but this does not compromise the general performance of the car. This is a car that was designed with metal replacing the ceramic as one of the materials that are used as a catalyser and this is similar to those that are found on competition cars.
