Thursday, April 22nd, 2010
This is one of the most affordable luxury cars in the market and you can either choose the all-wheel or rear wheel drive. The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe offers more room compared to the sedan but the back is a little cramped. Its platform is similar to the sedans but the coupe is shorter and lower.
It has a very unique exterior like the rear glass which is almost horizontal, its windshield is at an extreme angle and the doors are opened using touch-pads instead of door handles.
Its base engine has a 3.6 liter V6 with 304 horsepower and delivers 27mpg on highways. It has a standard 6 speed manual and manual shift. On the interior, the doors accents are hand sewn and the car has Bluetooth connectivity, rearview camera, navigation system, hard drive, MP3/iPod capability, adaptive headlights and audio system with surround sound. Microfiber material is used on the seat inserts, shifter and steering wheel.
The 2010 Cadillac Converj is similar to the Volt and is capable of going 40 miles on batteries alone. Once you cover the 40 miles the gas engine can kicks in to add to the range which means you can go for several miles without it emitting any carbon. It is also possible to recharge the battery from the wall outlet and thus is one vehicle that is friendly to the environment.
The Cadillac Escalade ESV is one of the most luxurious SUVs in the market and you can get it in 4 trim levels that include Platinum, Premium and Luxury Edition. All these trim levels are available as rear wheel drives and all-wheel drives. The standard features include power liftgate, 18 inch wheels, adaptive shock absorbers, park assist and xenon headlamps.
The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon is one of the few cars that come equipped with magnetic ride control, Michelin pilot sport PS2 tires as well as brembo brakes. The price of this car is yet to be announced but the manufacturer promised to make them available by the end of the year. The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon is the extension of the CTS lineup as well as the V-Series and thus offers an uncompromising performance for every car enthusiast who requires extra room of a wagon. The exterior of the Cadillac is amazing and is finished with midnight silver which was first used for the Cadillac Sixteen Concept. It is further accented by lustrous liquid silver finished wheels.
