Best Foreign Trucks for Hauling

General Motors and Ford are two giant rivals in heavy duty trucks manufacturing. General motor’s Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra are rated high for their performance and efficiency.

General Motors’s HD twins are also best rated for their payload. They can haul up to 6,635 pounds which was earlier 6,335 pounds compared to F-350 which can have maximum 6,520 pounds and F-450 can have 4,920 pounds. Lowering the rating is Ram 3500HD which can carry 5,130 pounds maximum.

In terms of towing, GM again is preferred for its Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 3500 which are both well trained to pull up to 17,000 pounds whereas one-ton Ford F-350 and one-and-a-half-ton Ford F-450 can only 16, 000 pounds. But Ram 3500HD has lasted the rail here with its rating to pull 12,000 pounds.

General Motor is the high master in hauling and towing trucks, the company also holds the best position in power figures for 6.6-liter Duramax V-8 diesel engine which has a high power of 397 horsepower.
